Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups help members connect on a more personal level and tend to be rewarding and fulfilling. Form a group comprised of members sharing a common interest (Book Club, Mommy ‘n Me, Sister Mixers) with the intention of having this group create a bond with one another as well as the alumnae group. Interest Groups should have a chairman to be a liaison between the SIG and the alumnae chapter or association.

DG Lunch Bunch

The Lunch Bunch is open to anyone who would like to have an occasional "day out with the girls.” Everything is very informal - there is no a set schedule of dates. We like to try restaurants which may offer a different choice of food or are new to the area and are moderately priced. If you are interested in being contacted about our next "day out,” contact Marti Kahn at kentkahn@bellsouth.net. Come join us for some good eating!

Delta Gamma Book Club

We meet four times a year in members' homes at 1:00 pm for dessert. Everyone is welcome - the more people, the livelier the discussion. Please call Pricilla Rose at priscillahrose@gmail.com  if you have any questions, and welcome to the DG Book Club!

 

Brunch Club

Meet sisters out for a weekend brunch (alternating Saturday and Sunday brunches are planned). We try to choose venues that are conveniently located and offer  delicious menu options. Suggestions are always welcome! If you have any questions, please contact Tricia at trish_klein@yahoo.com

Fit on the 15th

This SIG will incorporate differnt activities involving physical fitness. We will start of meeting every other month and if we have enought interest, we will add more events. The first fit on the 15th event will be Pickleball on Thursday September 15 at Langendorf Park in Barrington. Sharing Sisters

Sharing sisters will give our sisters the opportunity to share a hobby or skill with us. Activites will include crafting, baking, beading, needlepoint and so many others. If you have a hobby or skill you would like to share with us contact Leana at chgonwdg.president@gmail.com

 

DG's Night Out

Join sisters for a night out at different venues across the area. Events happen once a month and include wine tastings, paint nights, volunteer activities and more. If you have any questions, please contact Leana at chgonwdg.president@gmail.com
